Pulitzer Prize nominee to discuss new book in La Quinta

Peppertree Bookstore will feature six-time Pulitzer Prize nominee Edwin Black.

He will appear Sept. 13 at 7 p.m.

Black will discuss his latest book, “Internal Combustion: How Corporations and Governments Addicted the World to Oil and Derailed the Alternatives,” a look into the influence of special-interest groups and corporate forces that have subverted alternative energy options to create an oil-dependant world.

The author will also sign copies of the book at the La Quinta bookstore, located at 78015 Main St., Suite 106.
